Composite Pushrods

Composite Pushrod Featuring a Metal Sleeve and Advanced Composite Core

Our patent-pending pushrod designs are 70% lighter than traditional tool steel pushrods with no loss in stiffness. In a typical application, this saves about 4.5 pounds from the valvetrain!

Using composite parts in the valvetrain will allow you to reduce your spring pressure, take more stress off your parts, and reduce deflection. You will have more accurate valve timing with far less valve float, and the composite material will eliminate the harmonic valve bounce that many engines experience. By switching to our composite pushrods, you will see an increase the performance, consistency, and durability of your valvetrain.

Our proprietary pushrod tips are finished with a patent-pending surface treatment that is superior to anything in the current market, developed through extensive research and development.

We currently offer 0.500" OD pushrods with 5/16", 11/32", and 3/8" ball and cup ends. 3/8” OD to 9/16” OD sizes are possibly available with a minimum order quantity. Contact us for availability on other sizes.

Why Composite Parts?

Our composite parts are significantly lighter than traditional steel, titanium, and aluminum parts. Switching to lighter parts will increase your motor response time and acceleration. Lighter parts also carry less momentum, meaning they will put less stress on other parts and increase safety for your driver and engine.

Composites have a different resonance frequency than steel and aluminum which, eliminates the harmful harmonic effects that accumulate in an all-metal engine. Your other engine parts will also benefit by experiencing less stress and fatigue, making composite parts a long-term and cost-effective investment.

The properties of composites can be optimized for different situations by varying fiber types, fiber architectures, resin systems, and manufacturing processes. Through years of rigorous research and development, we have engineered each of our parts to leverage the benefits of specific treatments and formulas. Because of this, our parts are just as strong or stronger than incumbent parts while being a fraction of the weight.

These factors translate to a significant increase in the performance, longevity, and safety of your engine. As the leader in advanced structural composites, we are revolutionizing the automotive industry.
